This celebrity, hailing from Petah Tikva in Israel, began his military service when he turned 20. As a mandatory requirement in Israel for both genders over the age of 18, the star dutifully fulfilled his duties.

According to an interview she gave to Fashion magazine in 2015, Gadot mentioned that her time in the army wasn’t too challenging. In fact, it provided her with great preparation for her Hollywood career. Prior to joining the military, Gadot was a beauty queen who won the Miss Israel title in 2004 at the age of 18. She even participated in the Miss Universe pageant in Ecuador. After her reign ended, Gadot decided to serve in the Israeli military and worked as a combat instructor.

Following her two-year stint in the military, the protagonist enrolled at the prestigious IDC Herzliya college to pursue a degree in law and international relations. During her time there, she was approached by a casting director who urged her to audition for the role of a Bond girl in Quantum of Solace. Despite the enticing offer, the protagonist declined, stating that she was too serious and intelligent to pursue acting as a career. Additionally, the script was exclusively in English, which made her feel uncomfortable despite her proficiency in the language.

Although she was unsuccessful in securing the role, her passion for acting was ignited and she landed a part in an Israeli television show. Eventually, she decided to leave school after completing only one year of studies. Fortunately, the very same casting director who overlooked her initially would later offer her a leading role in the movie Fast Furious as Gisele. Intrigued by the prospect of pursuing an acting career, she relocated to America where she dedicated herself to the craft full-time. The rest, as they say, is history.

Gal Gadot, who plays the iconic superhero Wonder Woman, currently lives in Los Angeles with her spouse Yaron Versano and their two daughters named Maya and Alma.
